Our Vision

We envision connected communities where people of every age and ability are welcomed, valued, and able to participate fully. We also envision young people who make empathy, inclusion, leadership, and community service a lifelong practice.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote inclusion, wellness, connection, and service by bringing students, families, and community members together through meaningful activities and volunteer opportunities.

We strive to:

• Create inclusive and welcoming experiences where individuals with special needs, disabilities, and their families feel respected, accepted, and supported.
• Promote physical, social, and emotional well-being through sports, music, arts, recreation, and other engaging activities.
• Build peer connections and friendships through group activities and youth-led programs.
• Develop social and independent living skills through real-life experiences such as cooking, dining out, shopping, outdoor activities, and community events.
• Support siblings and families by creating opportunities for connection, participation, and positive coping experiences.
• Empower young people through service by connecting students with meaningful volunteer opportunities and helping them become compassionate, responsible community leaders.
• Give back to the community through outreach, performances, fundraising, educational programs, and service projects that support people of all ages and abilities.

Our Commitment

SunnyBlue is committed to dignity, choice, accessibility, and safety in every program. We listen to participants and families, design activities around individual strengths and needs, prepare student volunteers to serve responsibly, and work with local partners to learn and improve.

We believe community service is something we do with people, not simply for them, and that everyone has something meaningful to contribute.

Our Impact
